(Un)titled.: The Dark —›

involuntarydreams:

I’ve left you in the dark and caressed you in the shade
You’ve led me into sunlight and burned my skin ablaze
I am not like you, much unlike your peers
I frolic not in meadows, but where you hide your fears
I perch upon a willow, looking at the ground
You find yourself always looking up where…

Dear You: If you walk away, I walk away. —›

writeletterstoyou:

I’ll carry my feet back to the
places we stayed, the sun we once
stole life under and the glaze of a reflective stream.
You called it Sundays, the days you spent
with me outside, unaided by a fake
smile or a line of curling grief. You
said I gave you a voice, a passion,
but there you…

If a dog were the teacher you would learn stuff like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be
pure ecstasy.

When it’s in your best interest, practice obedience.

Let others know when they’ve invaded your territory.

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

No matter how often you’re scolded, don’t buy into the guilt thing and pout..! run right back and make friends.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.

Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you’re not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

The Difference Between: Friends & Bestfriends

Friend: calls your parents by mr. and mrs.

Bestfriend: calls your parents dad & mom or tito & tita.

Friend: has never seen you cry

Bestfriend: has always has the best shoulder to cry on

Friend: never asks for anything to eat or drink

Bestfriend: opens the fridge & makes herself at home

Friend: asks you to write down your number.

Bestfriend: they ask you for their number (cuz they can’t remember it)

Friend: borrows your stuff for a few days then gives it back.

Bestfriend: has a closet full of your stuff

Friend: only knows a few things about you

Bestfriend: could write a biography on your life story

Friend : will leave you behind if that is what the crowd is doing

Bestfriend: will always go with you

Friend: will ask where you’ve been (after going AWOL)

Bestfriend: will say MISS YOU & goes on being your friend
